Wide open lingcod

Great day on shallow water Lingcod. Today they bit straight farallon feathers with anchovies and we caught half of them hitchhiking on small rockfish. One angler landed 2 keepers on shrimp flys on one cast. It was wide open on lingcod today.  We landed about 9 per person on rockfish, most of them were caught in the morning. In the afternoon we were going over clouds of rockfish that would not bite. We also had a few people sitting down because of the wind today. Rockfish were pinched, would not bite in the afternoon so we couldn’t close the limit on those today but got very close. Overall everyone had a great time pulling on lingcod and going home with a lot of meat today. 
For 15 anglers and 3 crew we landed 36 lingcod and 135 rockfish.
