Wide open rockfishing

We ran a light load up the Marin coast today. Rockfish bit wide open for us, we kept a good grade of brown, black and yellowtail rockfish today with a few vermillion mixed in. Only 3 lingcod up there today. We didn’t spend a lot of time on Lingcod today because of early afternoon wind and everyone is out of live bait right now. I recommend bringing frozen herring or sardines for these trips right now for lingcod.  Overall great rockfishing and a couple striped bass and 3 lingcod for 9 anglers today.  We’ve got room for rockfish and lingcod all weekend.
