🎣 Happy Hooker Sport Fishing – F/V Pacific Dream 🎣

The Pacific Dream headed out today with 23 anglers aboard, and we stayed busy with fish most of the day, aside from a couple of brief slow periods. There was no shortage of action, but the king salmon kept us on our toes with plenty of short bites and missed opportunities. We definitely lost more than our fair share, but that’s all part of salmon fishing!

Fortunately, while trolling for salmon, the ocean striped bass were more than willing to cooperate. These are true ocean fish—not your typical bay stripers—and they’re exceptional-quality fish that fight hard and make fantastic table fare.

By the end of the day, our anglers finished with 15 beautiful King Salmon and 26 quality Ocean Striped Bass for a total of 41 fish!

As always, a huge thank you to Stephanie Overbay for keeping everyone happy in the galley. Hot coffee was flowing all day, and guests enjoyed delicious made-to-order meals whenever they were ready to eat.
