Captain Chris Smith checked in tonight with an update from the Happy Hooker out of Berkeley, CA.  Here it is, we are back in the water and have started a new live bait season. Today’s first trip went great, lots of action. We landed 10 keeper halibut up to 14 pounds, 25 striped bass and 1 White Sea bass for 27 anglers . Had a lot of shaker action mixed in , released around 60 fish. It looks like we’ll have a great spring fishery, for more information give us a call at 510-223-5388.
